Home to one of the world's largest waterfalls, Foz do Iguaçu, a town located in the state of Paraná in Brazil, is full of natural wonders. Some might say there is not much to see or do in Foz, however, the list of attractions and activities tells visitors otherwise. The Iguaçu Falls (Cataratas do Iguaçu) are just one of the amazing things to see whilst in town. There is also the incredibly beautiful Park of Birds (Parque Das Aves), considered by many as an ecological sanctuary and the Three Borders Landmark, the place where Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina meet.
On the list of things to do whilst in town, Foz offers the Macucu Safari (Salto do Macucu) which is the most exciting way to get as close as possible to the gigantic Iguaçu Falls, and the Black Well (Poço Preto) excursion, which takes visitors through the exuberant vegetation of the National Park.
