Located in Albufeira, Zoo Marine is a popular day out giving the kids a chance to meet a variety of marine life including dolphins, sea lions and tropical birds.
Splash about at the waterparks
There are an impressive four waterparks to pick from in the Algarve. The biggest park is Aqualand, with a wide range of slides. All waterparks are easily reached by bus and make a fab day out for all the family.
Visit the capital of Lisbon
Visiting Portugal’s capital city Lisbon makes the perfect contrast to a day at the beach, filled with galleries, shops and monumental buildings, there is plenty to discover amongst these narrow streets. Regular bus services run from the resorts if you fancy doing your own itinerary or local excursions can be booked from the resorts.
