Known as the Caribbean’s only drive-in volcano, a visit to the Sulphur Springs Park will take you through the crater, past boiling bubbling springs and that’s when the fun really starts – take a dip in the sulphuric pools and cover yourself in mud, your skin will feel noticeably softer after.
Climb a mountain
Probably the most recognised landmark of St Lucia, is the Pitons Mountains which attracts many hikers and climbers on this enjoyable journey to the summit. It takes an average of two hours to get to the top of Gros Piton, where you will take in stunning views of the island below.
An island tour with a difference
Explore more by horseback. Start with a slow trek through the rainforest leading down to the coastline before your horse will trot gently through the crystal waters along the shore.
