Things to do in Menorca

Things to do in Menorca

Our top experiences you won’t want to miss on your holiday.

Holidays in Menorca are all about soaking up the Mediterranean sun and unwinding on glorious golden sands. Although the pace of life here is much slower than the fellow Balearic Islands of Majorca and Ibiza, Menorca still knows how to put on a good show. By day the unspoilt countryside provides a beautiful setting for which to explore, by car, bike or even a gentle hike. By night the small and friendly resorts come alive with bustling restaurants and bars, giving you a taste of true Spanish charm at its best.

We all love to spend time on holidaylaying on a sun lounger with a good book but if you fancy a break from sunbathing, here are some of the top things to do in Menorca on your summer holiday.

Zooming down the slides at the waterparks

A great family day out can be found at the Aqua Centre in Los Delfines. As well as the water rides, there is go karting and a play area for non-water babies. For you daredevils out there, the Kamikaze slide is waiting!

Picking up those important gifts

Picking up gifts and memorabilia of your holiday is usually one of the last things to do but luckily souvenir shops are plentiful in the resorts, but do remember many close during the siesta in the afternoons, normally between 2pm–5pm. A wider selection of shops and markets can be found in Mahon.

Experience the historical town of Ciutadella

Formally the capital of Menorca until 1721, this is a great day trip where you will find fine architecture in the old quarter and cobbled streets surrounding the busy marina.

Explore more by horseback

A wonderful way to experience the picturesque scenery of Menorca is by horseback, ride through the countryside and along the north coast beaches for fantastic views.

Once you have tried a holiday in Menorca, you won’t want to leave.
