Getting to your destination couldn’t be easier, there are regular buses to Mahon and taxis line up directly outside arrivals. A great way of getting around is by hiring a car before travel, so it’s ready for pick up from Mahon Airport. Not only does this gives you freedom to explore the beautiful island at your leisure, just leave the vehicle back at the pick up point on your return journey. All major holiday resorts are all within 2hrs. Depending on traffic conditions, transfers take:

Cala’n Forcat, Cala’n Blanes, Cala’n Bosch and Cala Blanca: approximately 1 hour.

Cala Galdana: approximately 55 minutes.

Los Delfines: approximately 1 hour.

Son Bou: approximately 35 minutes.

Check-in time conditions do vary with each airline, so please confirm timings on your tickets or with the airline direct, plenty of time before travelling. On arrival, check the boards for your airline’s check-in desks. Ensure any liquids over 100ml are packed in the hold luggage as this will be confiscated at security and passport control.

After passing through security to reach the departures lounge, you will find a small selection of fast food outlets and cafes along with shopping opportunities including duty-free shopping (please note duty-free prices apply for non-EU passengers) and gift shops. There are ATMs, toilets and public telephones on both floors of the terminal.
