Grenada Airport Guide
Maurice Bishop International Airport (previously known as Point Salines International Airport) is located only 7 miles from capital city St George’s, found south west of Grenada; this is the gateway for all arrivals. Flights to Grenada depart from London Gatwick, flying times can vary depending on each carrier, but a one stop journey will take in the region of 11 hours. Arriving at Grenada
Getting to resort couldn’t be simpler, many taxis line up outside the terminal exit, offering a quick and easy transfer. There are car hire companies onsite, should you decide to map your own route and explore.
Transfer times
The holiday resort of St George’s is a mere 7 miles from Maurice Bishop Airport, therefore should take no more than 10 minutes or so drive time by taxi.
Return journey
Allow plenty of time to check-in before departure, recommended times can differ between airlines so ensure you know when to be there by checking your documentation or contacting the airline if there is any uncertainty. Facilities in departures
Gifts, clothes, duty free and book shops are available once you pass security check. Make sure you are aware of duty free allowance rules when purchasing alcohol or cigarettes. There is a selection of eateries for food and drink. Access to WIFI, toilets and an ATM are also available. Keep an eye on the boards for departure gate updates as it may not be announced over the tannoy.
