Antalya Airport Guide
Down in the south west of Turkey, Antalya Airport is located 13km from Antalya city centre. There are three runways, of which two terminals serve international flights and the other one is for domestic routes. Most international departures leave from terminal 2 but do check this before arriving. Flying time from UK airports can vary, starting from 4 hours from Gatwick to 4.5 hours from Glasgow.
We know flying to a new destination can be stressful, so use our Antalya airport guide to help plan your trip in advance.
Arriving at Antalya
All terminals have access to a taxi rank directly outside the exit. There is also a bus service going to Antalya bus station where you can catch a connecting bus to most resorts. For peace of mind before travel, we recommended pre-booking a shuttle transfer with us. It saves time queuing up for a taxi, just sit back and travel in comfort direct to your resort.
Transfer times
Leaving Antalya Airport by road in normal traffic conditions should take:
Antalya: approximately 20 minutes.
Side: approximately 1 hour.
Alanya: approximately 2 hours.
Bus services will take longer and may follow a different direction to the resorts above.
Return journey
Check-in opens 2-3 hours before take-off, but do be aware this closes 30-60 minutes before the flight departs so allow plenty of time to get bags checked in and pass security control. Special assistance can be provided for boarding, speak to your check-in assistant who will happily arrange this on your behalf. All liquids over 100ml must be packed in hold luggage.
Facilities in departures
After security, enter departures for a selection of food and drink outlets including fast food and snacks. For last minute shopping opportunities Antalya Airport has duty free express, gift and fashion stores. Wi-Fi and an outside smoking terrace is available in terminal 2.
Official IATA code is AYT.
